Dry food, wet food, or BARF? An honest comparison

Hardly any topic is discussed more controversially. The sober truth: there isn't one right way to feed — there are good and bad variants of everything.

Dry Food

Pros: practical, storable, inexpensive, easy to portion.
Cons: quality varies enormously — the ingredient list is crucial, not the advertising slogan. Meat first, clear declaration.

Wet Food

Pros: high moisture content (good for picky drinkers), usually more palatable.
Cons: more expensive per calorie, more packaging waste, opened cans don't last long.

BARF (Raw Feeding)

Pros: full control over every ingredient.
Cons: nutritional errors are common and insidious — without a sound plan, you risk deficiencies. Take hygiene with raw meat seriously.

What really matters

Being able to read labels, calculate portions, keeping an eye on weight — that's more decisive than the camp you belong to. That's exactly what the Nutrition Guide teaches: without dogma, without brand advertising.
